Meet The Kinder Tribe Teachers

I am so excited for the first Linky party of the newly launched Kinder Tribe blog.  This is a collaborative blog that will provide you with ideas for your classroom, a place to share your ideas, along with a place to share your celebrations.

  1. Flair Pens should just be something every teacher has a constant supply of!! I did an Eric Carle unit this year and my kids LOVED it!!! His books couldn't be more perfect for kinders!

    1. I agree!! You must color code everything, and what better than flair pens?!?!? I do love Eric Carle! He is one author that I would love to meet!!

  2. Haha I think I've seen flair pens and coffee at least 5 times on this linky already!! Do you have a favourite Eric Carle book? I actually don't know that many (gasp!) I always read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" when we are doing our butterfly inquiry and I've used "The Very Grouchy Lady Bug" for time before too! Let me know if there is one in particular that you recommend!!

    1. Haha!! I think coffee and flair pens are a must for all teachers!!!! :) I LOVE all "The Very" books by him. I think those are my favorite. I also like "Mister Seahorse" and "A House for Hermit Crab."

    1. I do too! I love having the children make their own paper and then practice the paper piecing, like he does. I also love all the special effects that he puts into his books.

  5. LOVE Eric Carle!!! My classroom is decorated in red, yellow, blue, and green...I call them Carnes' Caterpillars. :)

    Have you gotten the new limited edition flair pens yet?? I'm obsessed with them!

      I have not purchased the limited edition pens {yet}! I will be going to the store to pick up a few sets! :)

  8. Super cute blog, love the colors! I too can't live without my Flair pens, I must buy at least three sets a year!! Eric Carle is definitely an incredible author, I had a hard time picking just one book to call my favorite! Children's literature is one of my favorite parts of being a kindergarten teacher!

    1. Thank you so much! Flair pens are a must! My husband found the big pack on sale a few month ago, and picked one up for me! :) I had the hardest time picking just one book too! There are so many great books that are used for different reasons!

    1. I always use his books in the Spring too! It's a "recharge" for me....I always pull out his books when I am feeling that spring time "drag." His books always get me going and get me excited!

  13. I love my flair pens!! They seem to be on almost everyone's list:) I love how eager kinders are to learn! I love Eric Carle he is a must for any kindergarten author study!
